Until now, mail for any USER@rahul.net
by default continued to go to the old servers, while the address USER-testing@rahul.net
went to the new server aqua-new.rahul.net
. This gave you time to test to make sure you could access mail on the new server. At your request, we then switched all your rahul.net
mail to go to the new server.
Not everybody has asked for the switch.
Effective around January 13–14, all rahul.net
mail will go to the new server.
Mail originating on the old servers will still stay there. You can keep checking mail occasionally on the old servers. Or you can put USER@aqua-new.rahul.net
in a .forward
file in your old home directory on aqua.rahul.net
to automatically send any stray mail to yourself on the new server.
This does not affect custom domains, which remain under your control. We will make changes in custom domains only as requested by you.
